Good Research Practice (GRP) do the improve quality of data, research strategy and publication value. There are all together 9 requirements of the code of practice for GRP such as project planning (grant writing), responsibilities, personal competence, health & safety, quality control, handling of samples & materials and the facilities & equipment. Project planning includes milestone dates and statistical validation of experiment plan which shows the timetable of events and Gantt charts. Responsibilities stand for the clear line management of all personal associated with project. Personal competence is the formal laboratory inductions like health & safety, equipment use & calibration and the methodology. Specific training records for research design, data protection and data management also included in personal competence. Documentation for emergency procedures/ waste disposal is required for Health & Safety. Adequate training for staff/students on equipment is necessary in risk assessment.
