Even though we know a lot about this great nations history we don’t know probably even half of the things that made this country thrive and prosper the way it has. The world is losing the ideas and events of history slowly each day. We know main ideas and key points of history, but what about the important details that may be getting lost? What about the soldiers that died in each war? What else are we forgetting? “They” aren’t telling us the whole story, the whole truth.
“They” are the people who lived it, saw it, experienced it, and feared it. They feared change, and they feared war. They remember a world with out computers and cell phones, a world without advanced technology. That generation of history makers is almost gone, and soon when they’re all gone what will we really remember? Will it just be dates in a book, or will we make a change and fight to remember? This is not just my fight it’s everyones fight, its out fight for the rememberance of bravery and spirit.
When the history makers and remembers aren’t around who will teach the new generation of the struggles and they milestones of the past?
