Blame For Romeo's Death
At the end of Romeo and Juliet both characters end up dying due to a chain reaction of events and decisions. The one person who I believe is most to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the one Romeo risked his life for, and she is none other than Juliet the Capulet. First of all, she is the most responsible for Romeo and her self's death because she took the potion that Friar Lawrence gave when there were many other options. The next reason is that she put too much trust in Friar Lawrence's plan to bring Romeo and Juliet together. The last reason I believe she was to blame was that she was the one that tricked Romeo into doing all these things for her in the first place. For all these reasons I believe Juliet was the leading cause in hers and Romeo's death.

To break it all down in more detail, first Juliet is most responsible for her and Romeo's death, because she was the one that took the potion in the first place. She took the potion when there were obviously other options but the Friar said, "...I hear thou must, and nothing may prorogue it, On Thursday next be

First, the Friar Lawrence could've been paid by a Montague to poison Juliet so she would die. Also, the Friar's plan would've worked but he didn't make sure the note got to Romeo so he ended up killing himself due to the fact that Romeo was unaware of the Friar's plan. Finally, Juliet trusted the Friar and he said "Hold. Get you gone. Be strong and prosperous. In this resolve I'll send a Friar with speed to Mantua with my letters to thy lord."(Shakespeare.IV.I.5.). But, the Friar never got the letter through to Romeo due to the fact that the Friar he sent to give the letter to Romeo, was stopped at a Black Plague quarantine and he didn't give the letter to Romeo. Due to these facts Juliet is most to blame for both the deaths of herself and

Friar Lawrence’s ill-thought out action was one of the main contributions to the downfall of Romeo & Juliet. His actions in marrying the two resulted in a long series of unfortunate events. He gave the poison to Juliet, he trusted someone else with a letter of such high significance to deliver to Romeo, and vanished when Juliet was in the most danger in the tomb. If he had not have made these three major mistakes the couple would still be alive. The Friar also sees the marriage as a way of reconciling the two disputing families. This point is proven when Friar Lawrence says “For this alliance may so happy prove to turn your household’s rancour to pure love.” The nurse also leapfrogs off of this, giving Juliet the idea to get married in the first place. “Go, girl, seek happy nights to happy days,” she says. Both the Friar and the nurse get the children into the mess, but don’t bother to help them out of it. They don’t take responsibility for their actions. When Juliet needs the nurse, she betrays her by telling her to marry Paris and to forget about Romeo.…

In the play Romeo and Juliet, Friar Laurence was the one to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. First, Friar Laurence didn't deliver the letter to Romero in time. In Act Five, Scene Two Friar Laurence stated "Who bare my letter, then, to Romero". Then, Friar John agreed to take the letter to the Mantua and this was one of the main causes of their deaths because if Friar Laurence delivered the letter himself. They both would be alive because the letter explain the plan that had change from the original plan. Next, Friar Laurence gave Juliet the sleeping potion which knocked her out for two days and stopped Juliet's pulse. The sleeping potion was so good that everybody thought Juliet was died. There are many claims as to who is responsible, but strong superstitions point to Friar Laurence, the cleric in Romeo and Juliet, as being responsible for their deaths. Throughout the play, Friar Laurence is seen whenever something goes wrong with Romeo or Juliet. For example, in Act 4, scene 1, when the prince exiled Romeo from Verona and Juliet was to marry Paris, she petitioned for help from Friar Laurence; otherwise, she would kill herself. In order to prevent Juliet from killing herself, Friar Laurence gave her a sleeping potion and assured Juliet that Romeo would know about their scheme. As shown in lines 113–115, he states, "Shall Romeo by my letters, know our drift, and hither shall he come."…

I believe that Friar Laurence is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. Friar Laurence was the one that gave Juliet the potion that made her appear dead, therefore misleading Romeo and causing him to kill himself. Friar Laurence says “Take thou this vial, being then in bed, And this distilled liquor drink thou off; When presently through all thy veins shall run A cold and drowsy humor; no pulse, no warmth, no breath.” When Friar Laurence was figuring out this plan he could had come up with something safer or a backup plan just in case something went wrong. He also should had thought of the pros and cons of this plan before he went through with it because he was faced with a huge problem when the plan could not get through to Romeo and…

In conclusion, Friar was to blame for Romeo and Juliet's death. He didn't think things all the way through. He didn't think about the consequences. The Friar also didn't deliver the note to Romeo saying that Juliet will wake up and not to worry about it. Romeo killed himself and it was because of Friar. Then Juliet killed herself because Romeo was dead. This was all just a chain reaction to the Friar not giving Romeo the…

Although he is not the only one to blame for this tragedy. Romeo could be blamed for the tragedy for a lot of reasons. One reason he is the one to blame is he drinks the potion almost rite as Juliet wakes up. Romeo could have went to Friar Lawrence and ask what happened before he took his own life when he could have lived a happy life with Juliet. Also Romeo Mary's Juliet rite after they meet each other pretty much. Romeo could have took it slower and get to know her better. If they would not have gotten married so fast they might still be alive. Romeo and Juliet didn't have to kill themselves. That was their choice which It is unreasonable to throw the blame on another person or an issue that made them commit suicide. If they had thought about their decisions thoroughly, they would end up living a happy life together. Also Romeo knew that she was from the family that he hates. It is kind of ironic how Romeo falls in love with people he can't marry because it just makes the feud between the family's worse. “In faith, I will. Let me peruse this face. Mercutio's kinsman, noble County Paris!...” (Shakespeare 85-92)This is the quote Romeo says before he dies. Romeo did not have to kill Paris he could have talked it out instead of immediately fighting which just made things worse in the end because that's one more death on there hands. That's why I think that the tragedy was not just Friar Lawrence's fault but both Romeo and Friar…

Another reason why Friar Laurence is to blame for Romeo and Juliet’s death is he wrote Romeo a letter instead of telling him his actions in person. Which causes Romeo to kill himself. In act 5, scene 2, line 25-29, Friar Laurence says,” She will beshrew me much that Romeo hath had no notice of these accidents; But I will write again to Mantua, and keep her at my cell till Romeo come- Poor living…

Who is to blame for the deaths of these two young adults? Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare ending with the deaths of two star-crossed lovers. Many events occur that lead to their deaths. Also, many characters have performed specific actions that push these two lovers closer towards their death. In my opinion I believe the Friar is most to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The Friar agrees to marry the two, he helps Juliet plan a fake death, and lastly Friar never informed Romeo.{{As the last sentence of your introduction, you need to address the prompt directly. Romeo is the one to blame, the most for the deaths of himself and Juliet. While telling Friar Lawrence about Juliet the friar confronts him, because of the switch from Rosaline to Juliet. Romeo states, “with Rosaline, my ghostly father? No./ I have forgot that name and that name´s woe.” (2.3.45-46). In saying this Romeo proves that a young male might think he is in love but once a girl more beautiful than the last comes along, his heart are as his eyes. This all proves that Romeo is to blame for all of the chaos that came from his “love for Juliet”.…

I believe the people in Romeo and Juliet’s lives helped cause their death. One person who helps cause their death was Tybalt. I think he helped cause their death because if he would have stopped trying to fight Romeo, then Romeo wouldn’t have killed him. If Romeo wouldn’t of killed him, then Juliet’s parents wouldn’t of rushed her into marrying Paris, then she wouldn’t of came to Romeo’s father talking about killing herself. Friar Laurence also helped with their deaths because he is the one who gave Juliet the sleeping potion, which made Romeo think he was dead. These are the people I think helped cause Romeo and Juliet’s…
