Bless me Ultima Book vs. Movie
Bless Me Ultima, in both text and film, share many similarities and differences. The storyline develops as Ultima comes to live with the Marez y Luna family during the last of her days. Antonio, the young boy, witnesses the deaths of Lupitio and Narciso causing him to face the reality that everything living is everything that dies. The similarity throughout the book and movie, is that Antonio constantly struggles between choosing his mother’s wish for him to become a priest or becoming vaquero like the men on his father’s side of the family. Each of these choices were equally honorable. There is also an ongoing battle between good and evil in the village; Ultima, representing the good being, and the evil of Tenorio and his witch daughters. In the end, as in all good stories, good destroys evil and Antonio recognizes that change has brought him peace. He understands wisdom and has a better understanding of his reality.
On the other hand, some of the differences between the book and the movie are the followings: the Golden Carp was left out compared to the written literature. In the book, the Golden Carp was God-like to Antonio where he was constantly going back and forth between the beliefs of God and the ways of the Golden Carp. When Antonio sees the Golden Carp for the first time, he starts to question his own religion. However, in the movie, there was no recognizable alternative religion that forced Antonio to question his religion. Also, the second spell cast on the Tellez family ranch was omitted from the movie. In the book, Mr. Tellez goes to Gabriel’s house to ask for help from Ultima to lift up the curse. Another, difference in the movie is the further development of Narciso’s character. Narciso was a young man whose wife died early, who had a gift for growing in a hidden house with a garden. Also, when Tenorio kills Narciso is raining instead of snowing. As a result, movies based on books

Since the two are very different, I will tell you 3 differences and similarities that I noticed. One difference was Mr. Shuan, an important character, wasn’t even in the movie! He had killed Ransom and that helped Davie escape. Another difference is that Ransom didn’t die in the movie, or at least not the original way. We saw him on the boat before it blew up in the movie, in the book he died in the hull. My last difference is that The Long Mile Gang didn’t exist in the book. Some evidence that proves the flick wasn’t crazy wrong were (1) Alan did wear a blue coat…

The final difference that i’ll talk about is the bird attacks. Between the book and the film, there were attacks in the movie that didn’t happen in the book, and the same for the other way around. In the movie, the first attack with multiple birds was at Mitch’s sister’s birthday party, which didn’t exist in the book. While in the movie, the first attack was in Nat’s childrens bedroom. Also, in the book, Nat was attacked for an entire night, and he was by himself. That also didn’t happen in the book. In the movie, Mitch’s ex girlfriend was murdered by the birds, and in the book, Nat’s ex was never…

There are many differences and summaries between the book and the movie the coronals of Narnia the lion, witch and wardrobe. For example; “In the movie, they crossed that river (jumping over ice bergs, Megrim confronting them on the river, etc), while I'm pretty sure that in the book they didn't cross it, but walked along it or something... can't fully recall. Also, I'm pretty sure in the book they were only confronted by Megrims once after Edmund betrayed them (when Peter fought him), but in the movie there was also the aforementioned confrontation on the river.…
