One question need to be ask how long it’s took the hospital know the patient was Jehovah witness and the patient spent 11 day in hospital before the patient die. The hospital had enough time to come with many different alternative treatments to save baby and mother from dying.
I believe nurse, doctor, and other health care people did their best to save the baby and mother’s life. The patient had the right to accept blood transfusion or the c-section in order to save the baby and herself, but patient kept believe in god and did not accept blood transfusion or c-section. The health care provider had no choice, but to accept patient is right to get treatment in this situation. As we are advances in technology, well as medicine, health care provider are finding new ways to help patient in like this scenario “Thousands of doctors worldwide now use blood-conservation techniques to perform complex surgeries without transfusions.
