Bohemian Rhapsody And Macbeth Comparison

A similarity between Macbeth and Bohemian Rhapsody is fate is included in both of them. Fate is present in Macbeth because even if the witches’ prophecies were no true, then Macbeth probably would of killed King Duncan anyways because his crazy and power hungry. Fate is present in Bohemian Rhapsody on the line where it says anyway the wind blows, doesn’t really matter to me, to me. This is saying that no matter which way things happened, fate would have still made him kill a man. Another similarity present in both is evil within. This is present in Macbeth when Lady Macbeth asked for her body to be filled with evil so that King Duncan could be murdered. This is present in Bohemian Rhapsody when it says that the evil within from the devil caused
him to murder another man. Another similarity is in the first two lines of Bohemian Rhapsody the speaker is confused the real world with a fantasy one. This is similar to Macbeth when Macbeth is going to murder King Duncan and a bloody dagger appears in front of him, which he was imagining. In Bohemian Rhapsody guild is eating away at the speaker about what he has done. This is also in Macbeth, after Macbeth murders Duncan he says not even water of Neptune’s seas could wash off what I have done. This is very similar to the guilt that is being felt by the speaker in Bohemian Rhapsody. Something else that is similar is in Bohemian Rhapsody the speaker’s feelings will not let him get over killing a man. This is similar to Macbeth cannot get over the fact that Banquo’s sons will be Kings and not his. The reason is he is starting to think that killing Duncan may have been a bad idea.
