Bowling Green State University

College is one of the biggest times in someone’s life! College is the time for deciding how someone’s life path is going to go and what the future will hold. Even though college is know as a time to party, it is also a time to crack down, become focused, and become serious about finding a career choice that will make a person happy, or at least pay the bills. Picking the best college for someone requires many criteria which includes: major choice, closeness to home, closeness to other buildings, and other important factors. Bowling Green State University and Ohio Northern University are two of the best options for my selected career choice; however, Bowling Green seems like the better option because the cost of tuition and I have technically already been accepted. Bowling Green State University is home to the Falcons! The Falcon territory would be an awesome college to attend. First off it’s close to home! It’s only a 20-25 minute drive from Benton Ridge. So that means visits home would be super easy! However, that means that visits from the parents will be more constant too. Bowling Green is also a public school which means less fees and an easier chance to make it into the college, where as, private colleges it’s harder to get into (“Cost Summary”). Tuition at Bowling Green is only about $10,606. Also, Bowling Green State University has a very good music program and an excellent education program. Which is what I would like to do in the
I personally feel that Bowling Green State University would be the better decision based on the tuition costs for Ohio Northern University and how Ohio Northern is in the middle of nowhere. Plus, I have already gotten accepted to Bowling Green State University. I hope that the journey of college is a fun one and I have made the right choice to continue on the Bowling Green State
