Thank you for participating in the Human Library at Briar Cliff University on Thursday, September 21st. Because of your willingness to share your story with the Briar Cliff campus, societal issues were discussed in a personal setting. Having these discussions in a positive and judgement-free location allows for barriers to be crossed and a deeper understanding of how discrimination and prejudice affects individuals. Without this discussion, transcendence of these societal issues could not be obtained.
