Placing down the golden cup, almost empty from the wine spilled in his anger, Odysseus leaned against the confined table. His feet spread in a defensive stance under it and calloused hands tightened into fists, pushed back his urge to take action and behead the suitors dining in his halls.
Bright-eyed Athena kept the king’s anger sharp as a blade used in war.
