The most interesting part of Frankenstein begins when a young man named Captain Walton takes a ship into the artic ocean. He’s hoping to make important scientific discoveries. His ship gets stranded for a few days when a sheet of ice forms all around it. To his amazement, him and his crew see a gigantic man about 8 feet tall dragging a dog sled across the ice until he disappears in the distance. A little later they see a normal sized man on a normal dog sled chasing the first one. This man is almost dead from exhaustion and exposure so they take him aboard, The man’s name is Victor Frankenstein, Captain Walton becomes friends with him, and while Victor is recovering he tells Walton his story. The monster wants to become friends with the family that has taught him so much so he goes and speaks to the man in the family that is blind while the others are away but as soon as they get back he is driven out of their home because they fear him. The monster was very angry while it hid in the woods and decided the next day that it would declare war on humans, but it eventually calmed down and woke up the next morning to try to make peace but the people who he tried to be friends with had sold the lease on their house and moved the same
When he gets to Geneva he grabs this little boy thinking he could use him to learn his way around, but when the boy tells him his father’s name is Frankenstein the monster kills him to get revenge on Victor. The monster puts the locket in Justine’s pocket knowing she’ll be condemned for murder. As the monster goes on with the story, he insist that Victor make a female that is as ugly as he is so that he’ll have a companion. The monster promises to go away with her to South Africa and threatens to kill lots of people if Frankenstein won’t do it so Frankenstein agrees.
