If someone like William Kamkwamba who created electricity with a windmill out of daily parts could dream up a innovative idea for Zahira school could be much more accessible. As shown in the documentary the location where Zahira was going to the boarding school had technologies such as permanent buildings, nice markets, and even transportation. So though they are still a developing third world country they have enough technology to come up with a innovative idea to benefit the 4 hour journey. Sometimes all it takes is a little idea to change people’s lives.
Overall the rigorous long journey is obviously embraced by Zahira and the other girls. Therefor to make this journey easier and more accessible they need the aspects of empowerment, sustainability, and innovation three characteristics of a smart village. Even though these girls are willing to walk the 4 hours they should be able to have a more effective and efficient way to get to the boarding
