A superhero is someone with inhuman abilities that do justice for the world. The story “Superassassin” is different than your typical superhero story. Written by Lesley Torneiro, this story is focused more on the protagonist’s real-life identity and personality. Tenorio redefines the perspectives on what a superhero is by creating a protagonist that see’s himself as a superhero, and of how he views himself in this big world, needing to adapt to his everyday life and problems with the choices he makes. This story will change the genre by how it takes the classic superhero term. “Superassassin” is about a teenager who is obsessed with the hero Green Lantern.
