“Brother, My Brother” A. Etymology
Brother, My Brother was entitling to the author itself. It is like conveying himself as his own brother, saying that no much more can embrace his self very much rather than himself only. A very brief autobiography which focuses on the author’s painful journey back to his past and on how the author goes back to his land but later on go back to the foreign and serve it as his home. B. The story was like the author was representing himself and telling his journey by the means of telling that it is the author’s brother. 2. Symbolic
The story was like calling the attention of any siblings, neither a brother, nor a sister. It is like referring to and of a person whom is in need of a siblings or a relatively person that will help him remember how he’d figured out the life he was into during his past days up to the present.

The story was depicted by how the author lives his self, remembering the past by going back to his childhood place where his family lives. The story is an autobiography that depicts the author’s journey plus the persons that turns pro and against him. It also depicts a true Filipino events which some come back to Philippines and go back outside the Philippines where they were earn a living. B. Inspiration
He is inspired by reality and a slice-of-life showing real events that happened during the author’s span of life, from childhood until he gets married. Chapters were varied onto where settings were and what and who people surrounds the author. Some conflicts on the time and event, and also people that tried to fool him was written on the story.
