I am in group eight with teammates including Meng Li, Jiayu Liu, Yuequan Qin,and Zhezhi Zeng, and as the only man in the team, I was asked to be the team leader in the first time.
However, after having several discussions, I found that I do not have enough capability to be a good leader because I am lacking of professional knowledge and cannot able to coordinate the internal conflict. As a result, we select a new leader, and my job is to search the information of UK express companies and also responsible for marketing part in presentation.

Through this group assignment, I really learned much. First, I realize that I should learn more about finance and accounting .when talking about the last part in presentation during discussion, I cannot participate in the debate, and even do not know what they said when comes some proper nouns. Although my major is logistics, it is good for me to learn more about other subject knowledge such as finance and management. Second is although we had discussion many times, we were inefficient and wasted much time. We supposed to have a target or task for each discussion, and leader need to coordinate the meeting. In addition, democracy does not work every time in small group, everyone has a different idea and wants to persuade others, which is the reason that a good leader is very important for a team, so that I should start to train leadership skills. Third is that unity and cooperation are essential to a good team. Team members need to work for
group, not for themselves. Each one has own task in assignment, but which not means we only just need to complete our own work, the final mark is for group, everyone will get the same mark. So that help others to complete their work is important and essential, and when comes to difficulties, asking for help is also not a shame.

If we would have another group presentation assignment next time, of course I will do differently and better.
First of all, during preparation, i will plan the date and frequency of meetings. Not like this time, during the Christmas, team members went travelling in different date, so we had to have meeting a week before new semester, which lead to everything is in a hurry. Then, when allocate individual task, I should choose a more challenging task or not very familiar aspect. In this way, I would be more active to learn new things. This time I choose marketing part because I learned this course in undergraduate, so it is easy for me to do my own work, but lost a good opportunity to access to new knowledge. As for the presentation, we were given 1 hour to record, but half an hour wasted in the adjusting the projector and the computer, as a result we only recorded twice. In addition, 3 minutes presentation is not long, but I supposed to write a draft and recite it to ensure a fluent speech. But fact is I did not prepare a draft and the content might a slight different in two recordings and also not fluent. Last one is next time we need to wear suit to make it more professional, not in casual clothes, which is uncomfortable for the
viewers.

During the assignment, we found that the APP designing is the easiest part. Because there are a lot of relevant information can be acquired, especially in the Chinese APP store. Differ from UK, Chinese labour costs are cheap and express delivery industry has developed rapidly, many services looks like unbelievable in UK is very normal in China, such as same day delivery service or free pick up from patron service. So many things can reference that we only spent 1 day to determine and design the most possible new service can be achieved in UK for the new APP.

While for the most difficult part is recording the presentation, which is unexpected for us. Because it is the first time for all of us to record our speech so seriously, we were a little nervous and unavoidably made mistakes during recording. But when one person made a big mistake that all of us need to record it again, which makes members angry when same person made mistakes twice or more. Fortunately, all teammates have good temper, although we failed many times, with some extra time we finally complete it.

To be honest, I participate much in group discussion and spend hours to prepare my PPT, but due to my accent and speaking skill, I might perform not as good as my team members, I think I will do better the next time.
