Btec Business Level 3 Unit 9 P1

Overall I think that P1 was a success. The group had good team dynamics and I feel that our design was successfully created and implemented. The team met weekly through the use of workshops and one or two meetings. This was to go over what needs to be done and what has been done already. Any major tasks were also divided between members and this is where we planned out our solution. Everyone contributed and no one was spoken over. However as we progressed through the project people became more familiar with certain aspects of the project so that’s where they started to majorly contribute. At the beginning of each meetings everyone shared information and ideas individually with no one talking over one another and I feel that this worked well. However there was
By the time we received feedback on specifically the interim report there was only a week left to pick our design, finalize our design and clean up any other problems and then we had to make slides to sum up our project. Combining this with five other courses with other assignments and midterms, I felt that it was really time restrictive. I feel like instead of being due that first Sunday just before reading week maybe the Thursday or Friday of reading week would have been better so that the slides had enough time to be composed. It also feels like the TAs prefer to mark the paper copy which we didn’t hand in till the Monday after reading week. I understand that we are expected to be able to manage all our courses and workload but I feel like it would make students much less stressed and be able to compose better content overall. However I feel like the feedback forced us to really make our writing concise and more applicable in the professional environment even though a lot of it went against we were taught in the rest of our schooling in regards to word usage, commas, and harsh
