Change Customer perspective
When changing the customer perspective involves with e-commerce sites, the media would warn the customers about e-commerce websites and online shopping, which is big issue. This is done by exploring scary stories about damagers with the e-commerce site, also stories about people who experience bad service with online shopping. Then showing the customer that they could becoming a next victim of their PC being harm and also there information in damage by hacker that would try to steal their identity theft or delivery issues (that product would come later than planned) and other reasons not to trust online buying.
The ways the e-commerce sites attract customers when it promise to:
Value – This is when e-commerce site not only sells their products from a lower price and cheaper products to the traditional street store, whereas it also needs to give opposite for customers to buy products that are available anywhere else.
Services – This is when website service would at least have a 24-hour service that can deliver anytime, for just a little extra cost.
Ease- This is when e-commerce site are access anywhere anytime, meaning it will accessible from home as well
Security – This is when there are numbers of different ways to secure customers and websites information, this should make sure that they are able to adopt this to reassure their customers.
Economic and social impact due to speed to changes
When e-commerce are now one of the most popular ways to shop, this then puts traditional business in damage which threaten their business. However this is an issue for those who doesn’t have Internet access. Less fortunate customers have a disadvantages when it comes down to buying online, this could be because they use old fashion internet like Dial-up (56K), also there could be no internet access because the broadband is not available in the area.
