INTRODUCTION
Good morning ladies and gentlemen. My name is Richard and today, my group and I will be presenting a new concept of Kopitiam that would be built in one of the HDB centralized area.
Without any further due, these are my group members. This is Elisa, this is Rendy, this is Priska, and this is Chi.
So first of all, I’m sure everyone of you here ever heard of Kopitiam.
What does Kopitiam mean? It literally means coffee shop. “Kopi” is a Malaysian word for coffee and “Tiam” is a Hokkien word for shop.
But do you know who, where and when was the first time Kopitiam was introduced to the Singaporeans? So here’s a little history about Kopitiam.
This man was once a kopikia, a calling for kids who work in coffee shops. But now, people call him KOPITIAM KING. His name is Lim Bee Huat , the founder and chairman of Kopitiam now. He was only a sixth grade graduate. But yet, he is a very successful man.
Kopitiam was first established in 1988 at Bishan Street 11. Lim Bee Huat invested a shocking amount of capital, which was S$2.1million, for his new restaurant. Everyone thought he was crazy but later on in Lim’s life, he proved them wrong.
Next, what is a HDB Centralized Area? It is simply a HDB flat which is located near/close to many amenities such as MRTstations, Bus routes, city centres, etc.
So I think its enough of the introduction. Now my grou p will tell you more about the new concept of kopitiam. Elisa,……. “Concentrate on a specific and 100 percent. Don’t dilute you interest and plans. Go and go and go all the way to achieve your target job, give your heart, soul.” – Lim Bee Huat
About Central Area : The central district of Singapore is a wonderful place to live in for HDB owners because of the many facilities and amenities located there. Established HDB estates in the central district include Toa Payoh, Queenstown, Bukit Merah and Boon Keng. These places are located close to the city centre and are served by bus routes and MRT

The current x-ray machine flat value would be $12,000 each. Each day the hospital uses the current machines to make 8.5 x-rays per day. The average revenue for each x-ray is $65.00. The hospital calculates the revenue of the machines by multiplying the number of x-rays by the revenue ($65.00 x 8.5 = $553 per day). Looking at the total revenue for the year, $553 per day x 365, the hospital sees revenue of $201845 per year.…

Q1. Although being the most centralised zones in a city, the central business district and the inner-mixed zone can be compared and contrasted in terms of land use characteristics and functions. Due to their high accessibility, land value and centripetal forces, these zones share functions that both draw the public and commercial interest into them, and create competition for prime land between business and some residential functions. To compare both zones, the accessibility of the CBD and the IMZ is a major similarity as all major freeways like the Mitchell, Graham Farmer and Kwinana run through these zones, and the Albany and Stirling Highways must pass through here to reach the CBD, hence making both zones highly accessible.…

In life, to successfully move forward I need to establish goals. “The tragedy in life is not reaching your goal, but having no goal to reach” (Leadership for Student Activities, 2005). I must have a plan of how I will achieve my goals and be able to identify when an important element of that goal is reached. Possible setbacks must be considered and purposeful schemes arranged for when the unexpected shows up. According to Deci and Ryan (1984), “Goals, whether trivial, routine, significant or life altering, are part of peoples everyday lives”.…
