In relate to contemporary business communication in globalization business; communication means of connecting people or place any behaviour - verbal, nonverbal or graphic that perceived by another. In this essay will be describing three elements which is Listening, Noise and culture that can act barriers the effective communication.
2.0 Body Paragraph 2.1 Listening
Firstly, listening could be important effective communication offers the best timelessness to make a prominent impression in most communication in globalization business. As Skills You (2014) state that listening is able to receive and interpret the information in the communication process. In workplace, poor listening is willing effective communication between two peoples when the listener does not face to and maintain eye contact with the other member that can be a barrier. Listener also has not paid attention to the speaker because of speaker not eye contact and nervous in the some time, thus listener cannot distinct listening. Eye contact is considered as a basic material of operational communication in Western countries. It is discourteousness situation if people do not make an eye contact. Therefore, listener should be understood the basic politeness and poor listening which are going to effective communication. 2.2 Noise
The successful communication in the business world that the speaker should be speaking in the environment clearly to make the audience easily and strongly understood when speaker is speaking. “ Speaker wants to communication with other person or someone into a noisy environment, then the communication process fails” (Kristie, 2013). One of the keys barriers to communication is the environment noise such as noise pollution. Noise may be become a sound barrier that the speaker could be difficult to explain or show any information in front of the workplace. For example, speaker try to introduce something but the environment is so noise and hard to pay attention to listening. Person would not be easily and strongly to pay attention to listening and understand what message to show. That is why need to know quietly environment is one of key points for communication then the audience is not only getting news and also image the picture in their brain. 2.3 Culture
In a modern and current pluralistic society, people should be allowed and see communication can be difficult that the reason which is about culture different. Various ways explain that culture which effective communication difficult to understand such as language and religion. According to Andrew (2014) states that differences in language can result in two people beings completely failed and hard to talk with another people. Within cultural background, language is being one of the culture barrier that is hard to make sure what means for different language in different parts of the world, for example, Eastern society may not easily and clearly understand the Western English speaking and the English accent in Western society. Thus, people try to through learn the Western English Style to make their own English skill more better understand the English means.
3.0 Conclusion
In summary, this paper across to three elements which is listening, noise and culture to explain and act as barriers to effective communication. In contact with three elements to understand a successful speaker should be need to know how to do and stop happening in a globalization business. Therefore, speaker must understand using the communication skill to create a good communication of affect in another.
