I understand the negatives to marijuana but I also understand the positives. I would definitely make sure that my child is at a responsible age to know the consequences of the effects. They should know when they can use marijuana and the consequences if done at a wrong time. If I tell my child to not smoke marijuana, and it's very common due to the proposition being passed, my child will be inclined to do so. Telling them no might make them rebel and try marijuana or something worse behind my back. My point being that my child can explore all they want as long as they talk to me about it and show me that they will be responsible with it. Also, so I can give them more insight on what they are about to do.
After all things considered, my thoughts about California Proposition 64 are that it should be passed. There are many upsides and downsides to the proposition being passed. The issue of the children being exposed is solely impacted by the parents. My thoughts of my child using marijuana will change as I grow older and have more knowledge. As of right now, I think it's okay for my child to use marijuana as long as they are responsible. Once again, it's a very controversial topic so everyone opinion would
