Camaro Comparison Research Paper
The question still lurks within everyone's mind, which sports car is best? With two types of cars with similar looks and equal parts like the V8 engine, only one will remain on top. The two cars, Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro are like twins but with each their own little difference that either improves the functionality or ruins the design. The Ford Mustang GT is superior to the Chevrolet Camaro based on design, overall safety, and features. The Mustang is superior than the Camaro because of the amount of space not only on the exterior, but as well as the interior. Ford’s Mustang has 13.5 cubic feet of trunk space, which is a well amount for a sports car.(U.S.News Best Cars). This piece of evidence states that the Mustang has more room for supplies than the Camaro so it is a better option for storage or long drives …show more content…

The mix of three cars would in the end turn out confusing since there is questions like to how does the radio tie in with the air conditioner or other notable differences. U.S. News Best Cars says, “While the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro’s cheap cabin materials and poor outward visibility disappoints reviewers, they remain pleased with its quick acceleration and solid overall performance”(U.S. News Best Cars). meaning the Camaro doesn’t fail at everything. Reporters have said the same thing over and over with the poor visibility and wish the windows could be clearer to see

In 1970 Ford created a Mustang better than all others, the Boss 302. One can breakdown what makes up a Mustang into things ranging from a little screw to the entire fender. The easiest way to divide the car into the fewest parts is the body, the chassis, the drivetrain, and the interior. My personal favorite part of the car is the body, because the body is what first attracted me to the car. If one of these components were missing or different than they are the Mustang would either not be the car it was designed to be or not even work at…

Someone could argue with a simple tire upgrade to the challenger it would improve its handling making just as fast in the figure eight or even faster than the Camaro. People could also argue that quarter mile times matter more because they might only care about how fast a car can accelerate from a stop. Someone could also argue that they like the feel of the extra horse power of the challenger over the Camaro. A person could argue that a challenger is a better daily driver because the seats and entire interior is bigger. If you are a bigger person, the challenger would provide way more room both width and length wise. Someone could argue that the price difference between the Camaro and Challenger is worth it because the Challenger has a larger engine with more horsepower and the car its self is bigger than the Camaro, so it is going to take more materials the make the…

There is a lot of controversy over the two cars; people who think the Stang (Mustang) is a better car, and people that think the Maro (Camaro) is a better car. It is all a matter of personal opinion, and what you like in a car. Such as: price, engine size, interior room, performance, economy, and of course, the company of which it's made by. Predictably, the posher the car, the more sought after it is. So six-cylinder cars are more sought after than the four-pot Consul while the convertible is far more collectible (and hence more valuable) than the four-door saloons. Buyers tend to want Zodiacs over Zephyrs in the case of the saloon, but there was never a Zodiac convertible Mk1 offered, which is why the pick of the bunch overall is a drop-top Zephyr Six.…

The Chevy Camaro has many similar style and performance features as its counterpart of the 1960’s. The style of the 2010 model has refined the smooth sleek contours of the 1960’s model. The headlights are still inset into the grill outline like the older 1960’s model yet giving more attitude and feistiness about it. The fenders provide the same flare while the tail fin has the same sporty feature as its 1960’s partner. The performance of this newly mined classic is in keeping with the old. The inspiration to…

The Camaro ZL1 is an interesting and amazing machine with power and potential. The massive engine is a LS1 V8 engine that holds 580 tones of horsepower and 6.2-liter supercharged V8 with 556 cubic inches of made power. This is the same amount of cubic inches as the Corvette. With a horse power of 460, this race car accelerates from an amazing 0-60 miles per hour in 3.8 Seconds. The Camaro has a TREMEC® 6-speed manual (MG9) transmission, possessing a first gear ratio of 2.66:1 with a Torsen limited slip differential. In the ¼ mile run, which is a slandered length for a race car, the Corvette runs about 3.8seconds at 460 miles per hour. The forced air induction from the hood scoop of the Camaro adds to the extreme power of the car.…
