• Cocaine-
The main ingredient in cocaine is actually leaves off a coca plant. It is grown in the south of America in countries like Chile, Bolivia and Peru. To make cocaine the leaves are cut and then are soaked in petrol. When the plant is ripe the opium is harvested from the poppy. The pods in the opium are cut thinly with a blade and the raw opium is collected. The opium is placed into little tubs and is crushed so that it can be divided. The opium is then placed in to buckets of hot water. The buckets are then stirred with large sticks to remove any dirt like plant leaves or mud. Lime is added to the hot water to get the opium to dissolve and to reach a PH of 12. Following on from this he opium in the bucket containing the morphine is separated and put into little containers for distribution.
• Ecstasy-
Ecstasy is quite possibly one of the easiest drugs to make. It can contain anything. It is synthetic drug made in a laboratory. Active ingredients such as caffeine, amphetamine and cocaine are added to make ecstasy. MDMA is usually the most noticeable ingredient in ecstasy.
