The story canyons is mostly based in canyons, caves, and a camping ground. Itis also based in highschool sometimes throughout the story.
Brennan and he is fifteen years old and he's a sophomore. Brennan also likes to run a lot to escape his thoughts.
Brennan is a fifteen year old boy. He is now a sophomore. In the story Brennan goes on a camping trip and he decides to go into a nearby canyon. In the canyon he finds a skull and he thought it was so cool, he decided to take it back with him to keep and have for fun. Later in the story weird things start to happen while he has the skull. He doesn't really know what to do about it and he doesn't know
if he should put it back either. He later finds out that his science teacher is really good with dealing with this kind of stuff. Later he tries to become buddies with his science teacher and slowly lad into talking about the skull. Brennan mainly wants to know how whoever's skull he has, how that person died. The science teacher agrees to help him find out how the person died. Eventually in the book they find out how the person died and Brennan decided to put the book back because he no longer wants anything to do with the skull
I really liked the book because when I read something I like when there is mysterious parts. I also really like skulls and gore type of things as well. This book really had a good way of making me feel anxious to read more to find out what happened next. I would decide to change having coyote in the story if he just dies halfway through the book anyways and then the main problem ends up being with Brennan anyway. I honestly would recommend this book the my brothers when they become better readers because they would like the mysterious part as well and I think they would really like the part with that skull and how Brennan deals with the situation. Mainly because they need to learn how to handle things maturely and I know that if they were Brennan they would do something really dumb and immature.
