Cape St. George Island Research Paper
Cape St. George Island, or Little St. George Island as it is also known, is a mere three square miles in area. It is owned by the state of Florida and is managed by the Department of Environmental Protection. It is currently being operated as the Cape St. George State Reserve. Since the area is remote and fairly wild, visitors are treated to a unique opportunity to explore its landscape. Take a look at everything this beach has to offer.

Tahiti Beach is so named because of its strong resemblance to Tahiti. This beach is located on the far east end of St. Vincent Island and may only be accessed by boat. Although the currents are too strong for swimming, this beach is great for shelling, sunbathing, and exploring the area to observe the wildlife.
Unit Four Beach is located on the bay side of St. George Island. There are not many amenities at this beach, but you will be able to find a picnic table, so be sure to back a tasty lunch. This beach is ideal for birding, as there are several species that inhabit this area. Do not forget to bring your rod and reel, as this beach has excellent fishing as well. When you visit this beach, be sure to wear something on your feet and do not forget the bug spray and binoculars.
Carrabelle Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Franklin County. It has many amenities such as bathrooms, picnic tables, and parking for your convenience.
