While driving on the highway and you notice a hill, therefore you know you are in Tallahassee. What also makes Tallahassee different from West Palm Beach is it is the capital. Tallahassee is the capital of Florida and several citizens visit the capital to see what it is like. A lot of paper work goes through the capital before it’s shipped out to the head person in charge. Moving along, two of the state’s biggest universities are in Tallahassee; Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University and Florida State University. These two universities have attracted many people throughout the years. Florida State is known for its football team, while across the tracks Florida A&M is known for its band and sits on the highest of seven hills. Aside from the schools, Tallahassee has no beaches to go to on the weekends or just for fun. Most people drive an hour or two to go to a beach. Last difference is the highway the citizens’ use is called I-10, whereas in Palm Beach its I-95. I-10 runs east and west and the exits are further spread

To begin, Florida known as “the sunshine state” hooks you in as soon as you enter the state. The beautiful palm trees blowing in the wind, the numerous orange groves you see from the roadside and the welcome center offering fresh squeezed orange juice makes you feel so at home. There are so many beautiful exotic looking flowers in the landscaping of homes and businesses. Of course, the warmer climate is the main attraction in Florida. The annual average high is 79F degrees and the average low is 57F degrees. Snow rarely falls in most of Florida, but has on occasion in the northern peninsula. Florida also has an abundant annual rainfall especially during the months of June through September. In addition, Florida is located between the Atlantic Ocean and The Gulf of Mexico, therefore it also has exceptionally high humidity and of course there is always a chance of hurricanes as well. Undoubtedly, both of these items are a major downfall to me.…
