Car Accidents Causes
Car Accidents Causes
Each and everyday car accidents occur on the Lebanese roads. These accidents can be fatal, or just cause harm for the cars. The reasons behind these accidents differ from the distraction of drives themselves, malfunction in the car, or recklessness of who is driving. These reasons and much more are mainly the causes of car accidents in Lebanon.
One of the reasons of car accidents in Lebanon is weather condition. In winter, the atmosphere changes in which most of the time it might be raining. Roads become slippery, especially highways as drivers intend to increase the velocity of there cars and race through and between other vehicles resulting in fatal accidents. Another reason of weather condition is fog, water pounds on roads due to poor road maintenance. Roads here need much maintenance as there condition is becoming terrible. We all know about the famous Ferrari accident that occurred on airport highway a year ago in which a guy was killed due to an opened sewage in the middle of it.
Another reason behind car accidents is Taxi drivers. City’s roads are crowded by Taxi drivers and busses. These drivers all they can see are the customers standing on the side of the roads forgetting that to get to the customer the Taxi has to clear his road first and give a flasher for the other drivers to notice that. This reason isn’t only the Taxi’s mistake, as the customers who are in need of their services mainly don’t notice where they are standing. Some people stand in the middle of the road, others on cross sections, or much stand beside road traffic lights. Since most Taxi’s cars in Lebanon are poor in condition, they lack flashers and break lights. These cause drivers behind to collide with there cars and cause an accident.
Reckless people who are busy behind there wheels by either talking on the phone, or tuning there radio station, or trying to fix there hair and makeup end up bumping into front cars. Since most of us have much to do on daily
