What is career advancement?
Career advancement encompasses everything you do from the time you begin your career to the time you retire. Advancement for some people means climbing the corporate ladder until you reach the executive suite.

Everybody wants advancement in their lives especially in job career because career is of great importance. The happiness of life of a person in real meaning depends upon the career. People like to choose career according to their interests and abilities to earn livelihood.

You must increase and strengthen your professional as well as personal networks. These days there are many online sites like linked.in that helps you to increase the professional network. Be regular on these sites.
Be Updated
Second funds in career advancement is to stay in touch with what is happening in the market. Some people never look beyond their work They do not know what is new in the market related to their job and work. Even you must be aware of news related to your industry at least.
Never Say No
Some people are very good at saying no but for career advancement you must know how to say yes instead of no. Apply never say no funds when it comes to experimenting with something new. There is no even a single thing that you cannot do. Always say that you can do it instead of saying that you cannot do this. If you say you cannot do it then you will never start it and the project or your career will go flop before taking off.

You must have a mentor who can guide you to follow the right track for the proper career advancement. It can either be from your present company or an outsider.
Look For the Opportunity
Once you are on track then nothing can stop you but you must look for the right opportunity. Keep searching and knocking the right opportunity at right time is very important from the career advancement point of view.
Keep a Smile on Face
This is one of the most important things at work besides your knowledge, experience and your work. If you have a pleasant smile on your face you will be liked by all. Otherwise you will just go to the office and come back home without any change in
