Design is the method of putting form and content together. Design, just as art, has multiple definitions. There is no single definition. Design can be art. Design can be aesthetics. Design is so simple that is why it is so complicated. To quote Paul Rand the famous graphic designer behind such well known corporate logos as IBM, Apple, ABC and UPS, “Everything is design. Everything!”

To begin with, Designing is the fuel that ignites my soul. I am a vivid dreamer and creator. I do not want to blend in, but rather to create, to stand out and to shine. Designing has always been a vital part of my life. Since I was old enough to appreciate art and designing, I knew I wanted to be a graphic designer. Drawing and designing intoxicate me like only the finest wine could. Being a graphic designer will allow me to express my love for drawing and designing. It will also allow me to expand on the skills I have learned so far.

In addition, I have been inspired and encouraged by my art teachers to pursue my dreams and my goals and to preserve until they come true. In preparation for embarking on a career as a graphic designer, I took AP studio art classes and have been on field trips that taught me about art and designing and I am a member of the Art Honor Society. My dream and my goal is to attend the Art Institute in Atlanta which will allow me to achieve the training and direction needed to discover career opportunities and become successful. The Art Institute of Atlanta is built on a strong tradition of excellence in career-focused education where students are motivated to succeed. This is a school that is known for preparing students for careers in the technical and applied arts fields.

Moreover, What is graphic designing? Suppose you want to announce something or sell something or amuse or persuade someone, explain or demonstrate something. How would you do this? You could use verbal communication or you could use any form of visual

Using The Business Dictionary again design is defined as “Realization of a concept or idea into a configuration or specification… and which helps achieve the item's designated objective(s).” Design is putting into perspective how a concept is working and how it can work better. Design is the beginning of a product and lasts throughout the lifeline of the product. It could be said that design comes after innovation as innovation is the process of transferring an idea into a product that can be sold, and design is keeping that idea alive and working. Throughout the course of my junior year, I have been challenged to be the best artist of my ability. As a graphic designer, I have learned to view things in a different light and learned to express my creativity. Although I am still learning new things everyday about how to become a better artist, I have improved tremendously in every way ranging from the thought process all the way to finalizing each project, and I think that as the days go by I will continue to do well in my high school graphic design career, but in continuing my education in this major and working in a field closely related to it. I have produced at least 5 projects that reflect my passion for graphic design including the New York World’s Fair, currency recreation, and the handmade film poster from the first semester of my junior year and from the second half up until my most recent project, a book jacket, and an organic drink package design.…

Art is for anybody. I want to be an art teacher because I believe that I can influence children to create their own piece of amazing art work. When I was in pre-school, I had this amazing teacher who inspired me to do anything I wanted to. Her name is Ms. Linda and she inspired me to become an art teacher when I am older. Now don’t get me wrong, I have had plenty other amazing teachers, but I think she was the one who told me to fly. In conjunction with this, being a very creative person I can create beautiful art and as a teacher I would love to be involved in challenging and inspiring new ideas in children; making them aware of their own thoughts or feelings. I have finally decided that my dream job is to become a pre-k or kindergarten art teacher because I love to work with kids and creativity is my sixth sense. Being an art teacher does not only sound like fun, I can actually see myself doing a mural on a school wall somewhere in the future.…
