Round 1: The First round comprised of a Warehouse, a Factory, two Suppliers, a Customs officer, a Distribution centre and Customers. The first game was played for 10 minutes on 33 tables by 25 people (all the students present in the class), since it was played by many students and the supply chain process was wide spread we entailed transporters in order to transport the raw materials and the finished products across the supply chain. All the participants had individual roles to play.

In 10.35 seconds the factory could provide only 1.4 with yellow tops and lost 15 orders to competitors. Alpha Co. incurred a loss of $ 3.9 million. In round 1 we were manifested the traditional mass production process. After scrutinizing, we realized that 95% of resources have been wasted while only 5% have added value, being widespread was actually a loss of time and money, and that it was impossible to match the demand.
