The time for completion of the project was 8 weeks ie.May 2010 to June 2010, including understanding the entire assembly of cars at the manufacturing facility of Honda Siel Cars India Ltd and finding a suitable project in a highly automated company like HONDA and completing the project in a stipulated time.

4. Operations Performed at the assembly stage –
a. Apply bond on its 3-4 thread and make sure that bond does not close the hole of Oil Pressure Switch.
b. Manually tighten its 1-2 threads by hands.
c. Tighten it by torque wrench (QSP50N) until tick sound generates.
d. Another person checks it visually and put a mark via permanent marker on it.
5.Other Details
No. of threads in oil pressure switch = 9
No. of rotation of switch required = 9
Rotation caused by hand tightening = 1-2
Rotation required with torque wrench = 7-8
Motion of torque wrench at one manual stroke =120 degrees
Therefore no. of manual strokes required = (7-8)*3=
