Case Study Of Carmen's SII
The last three pages of Carmen’s SII were the ones that she felt helped her narrow down her focus. The information gave her a lot to think about and she feels like she has a better idea of what her future could look like. The generals she has taken so far have given her an idea of what her learning style is like in college and what subjects she enjoys over others. Overall Carmen felt like her SII scores were a good fit over all. She feels that artistic and investigative would come out more once she finds a major that she wants. My recommendations to Carmen were to research majors that she was the most interested in, possible careers she might have with those degrees and if higher education was needed.

Carmen Herrera’s future job outlook at Radcliff tech has many advantages, these advantages include jobs that will be easier to land and obtain than jobs she would land in a university, these jobs include many jobs in the routine personal services categories and many in the routine production services categories. Tech schools tend to specialize in jobs for production and personal services because the teachers and majors available to these students are limited in terms of what they are able to teach and the education of the teachers. Some tech schools are even more specialized to a certain field. For example a school like pennco tech is mainly specified for automotive, students looking for a mechanic certification would be interested in a school like this. Another advantage of going to a tech school is that tuition and fees are much more affordable compared to a large university. This makes tech school more accessible than the majority of universities. This makes choosing a major considerably easier than a university because the student already knows what they want to do most likely before they arrive at the tech school.…

Personal goals may center on passion for one’s career. Graduate school is an admirable choice for those who want to immerse themselves in their chosen discipline, gain a higher level of education, and become experts and leaders in their field (Russell, 2007). An excellent way to determine when these goals have been met is to examine one’s problem-solving and decision-making skills, perform a self-evaluation of one’s knowledge base, and assess leadership abilities. There should be a noticeable improvement in these proficiencies from before graduate school.…
