Case Study Rebecca Zimmer
Patrice, we decided to pass on Rebecca Zimmer as a candidate for the CS position. While we feel Rebecca’s paralegal background may have helped to make a smooth transition into the CS role, some of her answers lacked specificity and clarity while some provided too much detail that muddied her explanations. We were also concerned with her longevity with the department. Her approach to either a project or a new job is dislike for a few weeks until the job or project grows on her. She also indicated that since she worked with children for over 20 years, she was working on how not to sound condescending to her audience whether in email or direct communication.
