There was a young girl, about the age of seventeen, who lived in the town of Moscow, Russia, though she herself was from the capital of the neighboring country of Georgia. Her name was Ruth-Anne Lali Jordania, or Ruthie for short, she had just moved to Russia recently, her parents were both from different countries. She was a small auburn red headed girl, with nicely colored bright blue eyes. Her mother, Helen, was from Athens, Greece and her father, Sadik, was from Ankara, Turkey, they both met in Georgia, where Ruthie was later born after they had gotten married. He wanted to tell her how nice her outfit looked, with this he sighed and went the other way to his first class of the day. For Ruth, the day was slow and torturous and she got called several names and she got teased, which made her question why in the world she stayed on campus for lunch that day. It gave her an opportunity to talk to Ivan some more, he was the only friend she had made so far, over the course of the day. However, she failed to mention that the other students were tormenting her throughout the day. He could tell that she was acting a bit off though, but he didn’t ask her what was bothering her. It was the last day of their senior year in high school, for both Ruth and Ivan, though Ruth mainly used her time to prepare a speech for graduation. That was until she didn’t show up on the last day of school, making him somewhat concerned for his best friend that he made only last year, so he decided he would try to call her since he texted and called her on a regular basis. With that thought in mind he took his phone out of his pocket, dialing her number and carefully putting the phone up to his ear. Only to learn that his dear friend was in the hospital from an attempted suicide because she had been teased so much by the other students about her condition that she couldn’t handle the pressure from these other people. This left him devastated, he never realized that Ruth had to endure this much pain, and that she kept it hidden away from him, it broke his heart, he could’ve helped her through this problem. Though he understood that she probably didn’t tell him this because she didn’t want him to get involved with her personal problems. Did that mean she would miss graduation and that she wouldn’t be able to graduate? This worried him even further, checking his watch to see what time it was, good, he still had about an hour before the early release schedule started.
