2.SSG Swann has served as an Motor Transport Operator both on active duty and in the Kansas National Guard for over nine years. She sought opportunities to be a leader and make contributions to the success of the unit by taking on additional duties or assignments like the Unit Public Affairs Representative. She is detailed oriented and results driven, for example, developing a tracking system for driver's training in preparation for a COMET inspection. Because of her assignment with the Honor Guard, she also understands the need for to maintain a professional manner at all times. Her leadership centers on the team. SSG Swann is ready to rise from the ranks of the Non-Commission Corps and stand on the arrows of the Warrant Officer Corp. Her training, knowledge, and experience as Motor Transport Operator make her an excellent candidate for a Mobility Officer. Yet, it is her ability to set the example, take care of Soldiers, and her loyal service to the Kansas National Guard that sets her apart from others. SSG Swann has the desire to combine the military art and science needed to be a Warrant Officer. As a Warrant Officer, SSG Swann will inspire and be an excellent role model for others.
