The author uses man vs. society to introduce us to the character, Cassie.
The way he shows us is by using the way she lived with other naturals. She had to verse society with the other naturals. Another example of man vs. society is when Cassie worked at age 16 in the dinner people of all ages came she had to work and communicate with people that she didn’t know. We also know her being 16 means that she is probably the youngest in there. One last example of this conflict is cassie wears different clothes than the other naturals which make her more different than the society of the naturals. The author uses man vs. man to show us more conflict about cassie.
Cassie shows her man vs. man conflict when she meets the
killer for her mom. She will show that she has a conflict with another character. Cassie is the new roommate and get picked on by the earlier roommates and this shows the man vs. man conflict. She is face to face with another character. Cassie has decide with her Nonna to say goodbye when she left. Her deciding with her Nonna again with another character. The author uses man vs. self to describe Cassie with herself.
When Cassie tried to find that person at the mall she had to think, and struggle with herself to find them. This shows that she struggled within herself in parts of the story. There is another man vs. self struggle in this story is when Cassie notices her mom died she had to think within herself on what to do. This was a struggle for her because this stressed her into the man vs. self conflict. This is the final man vs. self conflict and the overall final one is when cassie had to say bye to her Nonna this was a struggle with herself because she had to leave her Nonna which took her in when her mom died.
