The way this prediction came about was from the types of experiments that were going to be conducted. The nature of these tests typically are used when one is in the process of recognizing between the two categories. Streptococcus and Staphylococcus bacteria are responsible for plenty of illnesses and deaths a year. These tiny machines are capable of attacking hosts and making them their most vulnerable. Streptococcus bacteria are often found on the skin, inside the mouth, or in the respiratory tract and are known to be facultative anaerobes that grow in chains. Staphylococcus, on the other hand, grow in grape-like clusters. These characteristics are important to keep in mind, particularly when trying to distinguish between the two.
