Catholicism and Protestantism are two branches of Christianity. If we wanted to mention one of the main differences between the two, we could mention that Catholicism has the pope as its highest authority, while Protestants do not recognize the pope as such. Christianity is unique among all other expressions of faith. Catholics and Protestants differ in who they worship and pray to because, the cross has oh different meaning among this two since. Holy lifestyle with the doctrine changes. This two religions worship and pray to different entities. Catholics pray to Mary and think that Mary is the mother of God and that Mary is the mother of God and that she is everything. They have a saint assigned to each request and pray repeatedly. Protestants pray only to Jesus and know that he is the mediator between them and the father. Protestants do not worship any saint. In conclusion Protestants that only Jesus can answer their prayers instead, Catholics believe that the saints listen to the prayers and have the power to answer. Protestants believe that with the basis of faith in Christ alone. They are justified by God, because all their sins were paid by Christ on the cross and his justice is imputed to them. Catholics, on the other hand, believe that righteousness and Christ is imparted to the protestant by ‘’grace through faith’’. And also, some Catholics only fulfill the responsibility of going to church on Sundays and then move to the places they do parties in any way.
