Prompt: What is the cause of the paralysing inaction that plagues both Hamlet and Prufrock?

Have you ever felt guilty? In the play of “Hamlet,” written by William Shakespeare and the poem “The Love Song” by J. Alfred Prufrock. Both containing feelings of guilt. Both characters experienced problems that guilt would hole them back. Guilt keeps many characters in both poems from doing many things. Hamlet is about the prince of Norway (at the time.) Well everyone either thinks he’s crazy or he’s faking insanity. His father was killed by his own uncle, his name was Claudius. Claudius poisoned his brother so he could gain the power of being the king, in doing this he married his brother’s widow which angered Hamlet. Hamlet created a play reenacting
