Step 1- Within Australia 10,000 children are homeless under 24. Domestic and family violence is the largest cause of this problem, homelessness can affect anyone we love or don’t even know. This could have been prevented for some if others would find compassion and generosity to give the homeless Australians a new start. It can be observed that homelessness is a big problem in Australia that needs to be fixed so that everyone can have equal opportunities. Personally, I feel that this problem could be prevented by communities housing the homeless without worrying about costs and giving money/donating. It is a touching subject as it makes me think about my life and how it could change instantly from mental illness, violence, breakdowns or anything else that is possible.
Step 2- Studies have shown that most homeless people make themselves believe that they are not homeless. Homelessness is a good example of this as we need to take into consideration of how the other half live and what they would be feeling. To prevent this from continuing and gaining to higher numbers communities need to pitch in to help others and house the homeless so that everyone can be happy, have equal rights and have a chance to live their lives. The homeless people could also learn a lot from the bible as it tells us that life can only get better and with Gods help we can follow a new path to happiness and success for the future.
