Caesar started many reforms, both social and political, some of which are still in play and an influence in America’s society today. Most of these reforms were in favor of the deprived and disadvantaged. He generated “implied laws,” one of which included the responsibility of the rich to help care for the poor. “Implied laws,” were laws that were in order and were carried out because Caesar urged the people very strongly but were not written down on paper. He established new public buildings and facilities and hired the needy to build those. This way, the empire of Rome was beautified and the unemployment rate was decreased. He also created new jobs and social well-being programs for those in need. These concepts are still in order in social…

However, he did try to improve his home while he ruled it. He was a man concerned with public welfare. He always made choices that helped the people instead of himself. He was not a selfish ruler as some rulers were. During his reign, he did such things as open schools, orphanages, and hospitals for the poor people in Rome. He also tried to "humanize" criminal laws, and have masters treat their slaves in a humane way.…

He thought of himself as a god and would perform inhumane deeds such as stealing from sacred temples or killing innocent Christian people. Nero roughly killed about one hundred thousand Christians for no good reason whatsoever. He would use them to light up his parties or he would throw them into the gladiator pit, facing them against ferocious animals or deadly ruthless warriors. Nero's serious lack of humility caused him to perform poorly as a leader. If Nero had shown more humility throughout his time as leader, he would most likely have been not only a better person, but also a better leader. A good leader needs to display virtue in order to lead his people to…
