Why Is Julius Caesar Successful
Julius Caesar younger days Gaius Julius Caesar was his name. He was conceived July 12, 100 B.C.E. His parents’ names were Gaius Caesar and Aurelia Caesar. Caesar got classic schooling. His father had great political success. Therefore they were entitled to certain privileges and offices. Young Julius served as an officer in Asia Minor. (“Julius Caesar Biography”) Caesar had his own first important political success around 63 B.C.E. He was then elected pontifex maximus, the religious chief of office. Next, Caesar was elected praetor (an elected Roman official) in 62 B.C.E. Caesar then took quick advantage of his power by waging a successful campaign against some native tribes. He defeated Gaul’s and Celtic people. He was the leader of Rome in political and war aspects. Rome was very powerful and feared vs other entities around them. He defeated tribes of people and entire states. He invaded Italy when it was under power of Pompey. Caesar drove Pompey into Macedonia were Pompey was slightly stronger. Even then Caesar over powered Pompey. He sailed bodies of water also such as the English Channel. He also sailed the ocean, and smaller seas. (“Julius Caesar”)
Caesars personal life Caesar was married three times. Caesar had an affair with Cleopatra. This affair lead to Caesar having had a kid with Cleopatra. Caesar had three children before this affair. He had much success with his wars and with his political affairs. His parents Gaius Caesar and Aurelia Caesar. His father died when Julius was 16 years of age. Caesar was a war general, politician, and leader. Today his name still is known as one of the best war generals in history. He was also a very powerful leader.
