Changing for the bettter!
Changing for the better!
Living in today’s society and world could be like riding a roller coaster. Some people are happy and enjoy their lives, while others struggle every day and feel depressed. Most people are afraid of changes in their lives, even if it would be to help better themselves or others. Sometimes I feel that things will never change in our world for the good, but only get worse. I strongly believe that the upcoming generations play a crucial role in changing our world; even though it is us individuals as grownups that influences these young generations to become and act the way that they do. If it was possible I would change and put an end to a lot of things going on in this world and especially my community. If I had the power to change three things in the world or in my community they would be to recognize God more in our lives, stop the use of illegal drugs, and end poverty.
The first step I believe to bettering our world would be to become closer with God. Individuals turn themselves away from God, putting him last at everything they do. Instead of seeking help to better themselves through God, individuals search the internet. I believe to be able to live a good life you need to obey Gods rules, like you would your parents, and try to live right. I feel if everyone lived for God and did right that the world wouldn’t be in the situations it is now. I chose this issue because at one point in my life I did put God to the side. Sure enough, soon after pushing God away my life went downhill very quickly. When I finally realized that I needed Gods love and strength back in my life, things started to turn around for the better. Society has already taken God out of schools, for example the pledge of allegiance, along with not being able to pray anymore during school. Now society is trying to take God out of the Court Systems. Some states have even already taken down the ten commandment plaques, which are hung in every court room. People often tend

I could change many aspects of my life to improve the sustainability of my suburb such as catching the bus, walking, carpooling or riding to school instead of just going in a car the outcomes of this would be less fuel is used and there is less traffic congestion around the school which is safe for kids. Secondly, I could find sporting facilities that are closer to my house and I could walk there, again this would fuel while also improving my fitness. Lastly I could have my own veggie patch which would allow me to have my own vegetables instead of having to have my fruit and vegetables travel a long distance to my house the outcomes of this would be fuel is saved and there is less…

Away is a play written by the Australian playwright Michael Gow, published by Currency Press in 1986. First performed by the Griffin Theatre Company in 1986, it tells the story of three internally conflicted families holidaying on the coast for Christmas, 1968. It has become one of the most widely produced Australian plays of all time and is part of the Higher School Certificate syllabi or general High School Curriculum in many states, including Western Australia, New South Wales, Queensland and Victoria. It is also used as a college text, but this move has been widely regarded as a bad idea due to the lack of interest that is generated from students in the Australian Capital Territory. This is especially the case when one considers the fact that Gow did not "know what play is about" until some time after he wrote it and got feedback from a fan. This fan was probably his reflection in the mirror.…

I still don’t myself since I am only 18 at the moment. I have a long road ahead of me, yet one thing I do know is that liberation must be given to those who rightly deserve it and those who are responsible be held accountable for their actions and be punished accordingly. This country was founded on liberty and justice but the older I get the less and less I see of that. My goal in helping to change this world, even if it’s only a little bit and it takes me one step at a time, through blood, sweat, tears, late nights until the early morning sun shines its light through my windows, I want and will become a…

    My Long Term Goals

That is me giving myself the ability to change the outlook of things. What do I mean by that? Well, coming from a low income family, not even having the money to attend college but having the mindset of believing I can do whatever I put my mind too shows the courage I have and how I am willing to change things. Coming from where I am from you have goals but sometimes they don't get accomplished and that's okay you continue to dream and fight. Being a strong believer keeps you together and shows others how well-equipped you are. I want to make a difference not only for myself but for others as well. One of my favorite quotes by Pres. Barack Obama is “Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” And I truly believe I am that…

I think that by substituting the words “with religious freedom” for “under god” is a good thing to do. Like Gwen Wilde said in her essay “several millions Americans do not believe in God”. By changing the words “under God” to “with religious freedom” all citizens and new citizens can feel comfortable saying the Pledge of Allegiance.…

But what would I consider to be my own vision of how to make a better and more just society in today’s world using the knowledge that I already have? We cannot create a future…

My first step is what my church calls “getting good” and this ultimately means that you get good with your life. You stop to think before acting out or you do kind things for those around you during the day. I personally need to get good with thinking before i speak and working on putting more time in with God. In order to do this i need to try harder to think before i make mistakes, and i also need to make time to praise and worship Jesus as much as possible. I know i will work my hardest to do this because it really is time for me to change.…

The year is 2040. There are no animals. Most of the other races are literally extinct. Poverty is what makes up the countries' population. Could you imagine the world? I couldn't. I would hate to live in a world where there is a stuggle to live. I would hate it even more if i did nothing but sit and watch. These thoughts are what drive my passions to try and change the world. I believe that if we all take a stand against these horrfying issues, we could make a change in the world, together.…

Make people do right things that can make the world more peaceful so that everyone can enjoy their lives. We only have one chance in this life. Not all people can be the great, remembered as big star like Michael Jackson, or as great president like Abraham Lincoln. But we can be ourselves and make our own contributions to this world. As far as I’m concerned, it’s important to do the right things, and influence people to do the right things. When most people realize that there are a great numbers of people in the world need help, the world will be much nicer, without wars, poverty. And it can probably reach Great Unity (perfect society), in which people can enjoy their happy lives.…
