Psychological disorders
Every person at some point gets anxious, depressed, withdrawn, or suspicious, just less intensely than someone with a psychological disorder. Psychological disorders are deviant, distressful , dysfunctional patterns of thought, and they have changed since the 1700s. There are six types of personality disorders: 1. Anxiety disorders, 2.somatoform disorders, 3.dissociative disorders,
4. Mood disorders, 5. Psychotic Disorders and, 6. Personality disorders.

This deviant or different dysfunctional behaviors vary by context and by a person’s culture , religion and how they were raised, in some cultures talking to the dead, using plants as medicinal cure and celebrating certain holidays may be seen perfectly normal . Diagnostic classification aims not only to describe a disorder , but also to predict its future course , imply appropriate treatment and stimulate research into its causes.
Based on asessments, interviews and observations , many clinicians diagnose by answering the following questions from the five levels or axes, of the DSM-IV-TR (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders).
AXIS I : Is a clinical syndrome present?
AXIS II: Is a personality disorder or a mental retardation present?
AXIS III: Is a general medical condition , such as diabetes , hypertension or arthritis also present?

Anxiety Disorders
Anxiety that causes stress and dysfunction is typically the cause of this disorder, feeling anxious is a part of life , talking in front of a class, nightmares , nervousness , sweaty palms, repetitive thoughts , that is normal, it becomes a disorder when it interferes with our ability to function in our everyday lives. Anxiety disorders are broken down into the following five:
1. Generalized Anxiety Disorder : women are more likely to suffer from this disorder , the worry continually often feel jittery and are sleep deprived, and can even lead to high blood pressure, generalized anxiety will eventually fade away over time.
2. Panic Disorder : a person experiences scary episodes and they breakdown , kind of a “tornado” effect, it hits you and disappears.
3. Phobias: when a person is terrified, frightened or intensely afraid of an specific object or situation.
4. Obsessive- Compulsive Disorder: when a person is troubled by repetitive toughts or
