Sheldon always demands instant gratification, loves to be mastermind controlling everything and understands sometimes that he cannot always get what he wants.
The id is the unconsciousness idea of people’s mind, and it follows the pleasure principles, which people doing some things to satisfy their desire and want. It is hard for them to concern about the moral believe (Gladding,1988). Many things that Sheldon has done are considered as id. He rarely thinks about other people’s feeling and he got pleasure from it.
Sheldon and Amy have a very odd relationship. In one of the instances Sheldon speaks to Amy that she can go for date whomever she likes, but once Amy starts dating Stewart from the comic book store, Sheldon get jealous and wants Amy back. Because Amy is reinforcement for Sheldon and he is going to lose her if she dates Stewart, this example would be of an avoidance of loss contingency. (Sharf,2004)

Operant conditioning is teaching that subject something they can't already do by using rewards and punishments. By definition, operant conditioning is where behaviour is strengthened with reinforcement or diminished with punishment.
