Beowulf was able to defeat grendel and display his arm as a trophy , this was used in the synopsis of beowulf.they proceed to discuss the battle with grendel's mother, saying how he had defeated her with an ancient sword he had found .
this is the author giving evidence on how beowulf was the best one to be the leader because he was very strong and undefeatable and he lead his people to fight grindle mother Even while he was weak at the end when he get old he never gives up which shows how brave he is and how much respanisple he is the author also created a section about how charismatic leader can have drawback , they use reference to others who said that because of beowulf charismatic it ultimately leads to his own demise , this was stated by people such as napierkoski and johnson c they also use examples from real life and how charismatic leadership could have devastating consequences such as yahoo or google i really liked how they took aspects of the real world and compared it to a fictional characters it shows that the story was attempting to have meaning on the culture on that
time. My conclusion is i agree with the authors and yes I think there's was similarity between the charismatic and transformational leaders and beowulf deserves to be the leader and he was really a good and strong leader and he was very brave and I think and predict that wiglaf will be the king after beowulf because he was really loyal to him and i think that beowulf was his role model so he learned the bra from him . I see that the authors achieved their goal successfully to say their opinion with evidence and in easy way to understand . i really liked reading the author's thoughts and the way they wrote it was sample and organized .
