When people think of Charles Manson they think of a psychotic man who was responsible for coldheartedly killing many people. He is a psychotic man who never really killed anyone but in fact used his leadership skills and manipulative ability to take advantage of other people so they would kill for him. Charles Manson is a name fond to most. It was Manson, a cult leader, who in the 1960’s, that led a group of people on a killing spree that left multiple people dead. Although he never actually killed anyone, he was still held responsible for the deaths of many innocent people. Certain to never live a normal life again, Manson is being held behind bars at Corcoran State Prison in California. Charles Manson, born Charles Miles Maddox was born to a teen mother who was a victim of drug abuse and prostitution. Charles Manson spent his youth days with many different surroundings and never really had much stability during his childhood, but that leaves no excuse for his unexplainable behavior. By the time Manson was nine he was involved in various criminal acts. He spent majority of his childhood being placed in multiple reformatories, jails and prisons, which he knew to be his home. Over the years Charles Manson, a convicted serial killer, has become an icon of evil. In the late 1960’s he founded a cult group which was known as “The Family”. The individuals incorporated with his group were manipulated in killing others on behalf of Manson.
