Animal Populations in Chernobyl
The disaster in Chernobyl happened 30 years ago and there is still some harm there. Even with this, the animals are doing just fine, in fact, animal populations have gone up! Animals are in charge there and if you visit you’ll probably see more animals than you would have expected. Without people around the animals can roam around freely. Some of the animals include the bison, grey wolf, wild boar, and plenty more roam in the area. There are also many species of birds that come around. If you don’t find any live animals you are sure to find many tracks left by them.
The populations have gone up by hundreds in the area. The animals in that area have a higher population than some of the wildlife reserves
