Imagine getting in a fight with your parents, your mom is on meth, your dad is drunk and just beat you and your mom, you go outside and some man pulls up in a lamborghini and says “I can give you all the money you want, and some loving parents”. As soon as you get close to his car some guy in the back grabs you and puts a gun to your head telling you not to do anything stupid. He takes you to his house where he keeps other little girls like you and decides to try you out first. He rips your clothes off and starts raping you for hours on end. If the child need to ask if they can go to school or to get clothes or wherever. If they are paid very little or nothing. Or if they in bad debt. They may work too many hours at weird time in the day. They often seem Scared, anxious, stressed, paranoid, or jumpy.They will avoid eye contact at all costs. They are probably really Scared of law enforcement or they will get really jumpy when police are brought up. They will Lack health care, shows sign of abuse, or appear malnutritioned.They will have No personal possessions. They are usually not in charge of their own money. They can't speak for themselves, or they will repeat back a script that they have learned. When you suspect that someone is a victim in child trafficking, the first thing you should do is call the police. The next thing is make sure you are right in calling the police by watching if they are nervous when Police are brought up, if they have signs of abuse.
