Childhood Development and Sexual Behavior
Sexual behavior in every stage of development is more common than one might believe. There have been studies showing that in every level of development there have been possible proof of sexual arousal or interest.
In early development such as infancy, there have been instances where the child is born with an erection in boys. Infant girls on the other hand may submit a lubrication if you will, while being changed because of pleasurable sensations. Often times as well, it is presumed that infants give the affects of an orgasm by their body movements, however, it is only presumed, studies show no proof that it could be the case.
Early childhood, in my opinion show the most signs of sexual exploration. Here it is where hand motor skills are more substantial and children at this stage begin to feel their bodies, play with their feet and touch themselves when the parent is changing them. Early childhood is where curiosity plays a big role in the sensation of what things feel like especially the part of their body that may possibly give the child pleasure.
Preadolescence is still where boys have cooties and the girls are gross, yet curiosity still plays a part in their innocent sexual interest. Girls are curious as to what boys have inside their pants as well as boys wanting to look under a girls dress. I believe masturbation begins in this stage, although it has been studied that it happens in every stage, for me, here is where it really begins. In girls, they may like rubbing themselves against a doll or really enjoy riding their bikes and for boys they may touch themselves to possible orgasm.
Adolescence is where the hormones tend to go crazy and puberty begins. Girls begin their menstrual cycle and boys start producing sperm. Sexual attraction, physical attraction and all kinds of attraction begin at
