Juliet decides to fake her death and Friar Lawrence will tell Romeo to meet her at the tomb when she wakes up. This message doesn't get to Romeo. He heard about Juliet's death and came to the tomb to say his goodbyes. He made the decision he couldn't live without Juliet and drank poison. It was a very bold move to decide his fate, all he wanted was to be with Juliet. When Juliet woke up, she saw Romeo dead. She was heartbroken. She too decided she couldn't live without Romeo. They both chose their fate by ending their lives. This showed Romeo and Juliet were thoughtful and ambitious.
