Children During The Tragic Time Of The Holocaust

One may think about the time of the holocaust, and say it's all just made up but it really happened. The Holocaust was one of the most horrific things that happened in the 19th century. The Germans treated the Jewish people horribly, but it was worse for the children. The children were used for medical experiments and killed when they arrived to the camps. A few thousand children survived the Holocaust, and a lot were hidden during the time of the Holocaust. During the tragic time of the Holocaust millions of people died, but million of those people were children. The Germans didn’t just shoot adults they killed more of the children than the adults. When the Germans first transported the people into the camps they would separate women and men, and then adults and children. If the children were under the age of thirteen they would be one of the first ones killed. They went after more of the children because the children as the Nazis would say they were “useless eaters”. The first way of killing the children they would shoot them right when they got to the camps. Second they would put them into gas chambers, and gas them to death. The Nazis also would use the children as medical experiments. If a woman came and she was pregnant the Nazis would force her to get a abortion if she was able to, but if she was too far along they would let her give birth and then shoot the poor baby.
It was good that the children were getting somewhat of an education but it was much worse than one would think. The German children would bully the Jewish kids everyday, and it wasn’t verbal bullying that was the worse. The German kids would physically hurt the Jewish kids in the hallways and outside. It was very common for Jewish kids to get hurt. The Germans would only pick on the boys, and never touch any of the girls. In school the teachers would use the Jewish children to show different parts of the body and laugh at them. They would always pick on them during class, and they would point and laugh at them. When it was time to leave the German kids would get to go first and the Jewish kids had to stand in the back of the class and wait for all of them to leave. Finally Hitler let the Jewish teachers have a different school for the Jewish children. They were treated way better than they were in the German schools. The Jewish children would have so much fun during school, but then after school the Hitler Youth would wait outside and beat up the Jewish boys. The Jewish school was good for the children to learn and get away from the germans, but they still got beaten up after school.
